Over Gone Series Book 3 eBook Stacy Claflin
I am going to review the whole three books in one because - although I enjoyed the trilogy for the most part - I didn't want to have to buy all three books to get the resolution to the crime. Unfortunately, I ended up paying $12 for three books rather than perhaps a more realistic $5.99 or so for one reasonably thick one. I wasn't happy about that, but it is a measure of the author's skill that I wanted to know so bought the whole three. The drama is excellently handled right up to the third book, when - IMO - things slowed down a little. The ending was rather rushed, we didn't find out anything about what happened to the kidnapper when they caught him, and the gathering at the end was a little contrived. The reader doesn't get any feedback on the advent of the chappie she fancies - that is skimmed over. It felt as though the author couldn't quite decide how to get out of the book.
Overall the books were good - they had to be - and I got to quite like Macy. Her brother and Zoey didn't get anywhere near the bollocking (scolding) they actually deserved, particularly Zoey who should have known better at her age. You'll have to read it to find out...no spoilers there!

Over Gone Series Book 3 eBook Stacy Claflin Reviews
I have read all three books. One day in each. They were very good and I hated to put them down. I think they should have been one book. No one could read just one. I plan on reading Claflin's other books with stories about characters in the trilogy.
I loved the entire Trilogy! I hated for this book to end yet I couldn't put it down. The author had me holding my breath throughout this book. Good twists and turns made me root for each character! I plan on reading the stand alones with the characters from this series. If you haven't read this Trilogy you need to!! I hope the author writes a book on Macy Mercer and what became of her life as she grew older!
Book 3 in the Gone trilogy...WOW!!!
Stacy Claflin has quickly become one of my favorite authors and definitely one to follow based on this series. I'm looking forward to reading the spin-off book's from this series because I just can't get enough.
Well done Stacy...well done!!
Found that there were too many things that needed some research for the reality of the books. I am a nurse and the way of they treated Heather was not true. The body's DNA question is the worst they could've checked the blood type first. There was more realistic that was in the content too.
Storyline is very realistic which makes it that much more horrifying. Characters like Macy and her mom show the various aspects of a woman's strength and the many trials we go through. In the end, however, Ms. Claflin demonstrates wonderfully the strength and beauty of women of all ages. Slight errors detracted from the story which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. Will definitely read more of her books!! You should as well.
I read the first 2 so felt obligated to read the last one. And 216 pages was an eternity. It was a good series. But the last book dragged forever. Then all the sudden it ended. It was too odd for me.
Over, is the final book in a trilogy about a kidnapped teenager. I found the story to be fascinating and disturbing. The side stories going on in tandem with the main story were also interesting. I did feel on the edge of my seat at times while reading the book.
I was a bit disappointed in the characters. I felt that they were all very similar in their voices. The main character, Macy, who had been kidnapped, was a little hard to believe at times. I kept thinking to myself "no way would a teenager do that."
One of the side stories in the book was a little disturbing to me--a 13 year old getting a 16 year old pregnant. Yes, I know it happens, but not something I particularly want to read about.
Overall, I liked this book and would recommend it to someone who wants a quick, exciting read.
